One of the things I love to do is recycle. Whether it is the compost from our veggie scraps, or turning my mom's old needlepoint into a pillow. But today we had a great experience of reuse in our new town. We are currently unpacking every box to make sure nothing else is broken (yeah - we had some damage in the move).  I have been following a group called Zürich Reuse on FB. I posted moving boxes and within an hour someone came to the apartment filled her car with all our boxes and packing paper. It is a win all around. Materials getting reused, someone saving tons of money on boxes and us not having to keep the boxes in our apartment for a month until cardboard pick-up.  And she was so gracious she gave us a bottle of wine.

One proud moment as a mama. Klara spotted a free bookcase on our street corner. We are very happy to report her first "Dumpster Dive" was a huge success and we are proud to report it is comfortably situated in our storage room.

Today was a great day for reuse in the Altmüller home.
