Vevey for the Day (or so)
This past Saturday morning, Stephan and I hopped on a train to Vevey. Vevey is just a quick 15 minutes from Lausanne and about 2.5 hours from Zürich. It was such a lovely town. Off season and before the grapevines wake up - it was a nice treat to explore only with what seemed like locals.
We spent most of our time walking along the lakefront on Saturday. We did pop into the Swiss game museum, which was not only super fun for all ages, but in a spectacular space. Stephan and I got to play a few games and have a great time looking at games from the past.
Sunday, we took the funicular up to its last stop and then walked through the vineyard paths to Charlie Chaplin's home.
After our visit to Chaplin's World we continued the walk down for one last look at the water and hopped back on the train home. Mini- escape success.
