Together
together - zusammen
We are all together again, tired, but together. The trip started with the help of our friends Caryn and Bill. Loading two cars, one with the Altmueller luggage and the other with the Altmueller people. And then the unloading and the goodbyes. Due to the dates and lateness of our flight reservations, we ended up having to take three flights. I am not going to lie, the second flight, even if it was smooth - sucked. We had mini meltdowns and a leg/arm spreader next to me. Either he really sleeps deep or realized I was not in the mood to pick this battle. Luckily, we only had enough time to get to the gate to have no time to continue the meltdowns. A 3 hour nap on the plane gave us the energy to gather our luggage, zip thru customs and search for Stephan. He was so focused on finding where to stand that he would have walked by us if we had not called to him. A few laughs, from people around us when we said it had only been 6 weeks and he already forgot what we looked liked. I can't say we did anything extraordinary once we were together. But, it was a really, really good day. Our family is back together, tired, but together.
