Tirol in September

In September, we spent a weekend in the mountains in Austria. It was the weekend where they brought the cows back down from the summer grazing location. They held celebrations in the different small towns. We went to one of the locations to join in on celebrating the return, along with some local food and visits, including one to a glacier. We got a couple nice walks, snow and a quick lunch in Innsbruck on our way home.

Stephan and I were thrilled to join a couple of friends from Vienna as well as friends from my college times. So grateful they all could spend the time with us. And so super happy we got a week with our Boston friends.
