Snowstorm
snowstorm - Der Schneesturm

Yesterday at 7am we looked out the window and saw just wet streets from a night of continual rain. 24 hours later, the view was completely different. Sometime between 7-8:30am yesterday, the snow started and as I sit here- noon the next day - it still hasn't stopped. At this point, I am guessing we are at roughly 35cm in (which is over 13+inches). And the snow keeps coming.

This much snow so quickly has caused some inconveniences. Yesterday, Miriam got off her train and decided to walk home. At that point the problems with buses and trams were just starting. With a truck blocking traffic and all transport was backing up. This morning they were all shutdown due to the snow, branches on the tracks and connection issues. The commuter trains were showing lots of delays and cancellations.

This is our first official snowstorm since moving here and embracing the moment.

This morning on my walk- the tram tracks were not cleared yet. And then a little further down the street - I caught a glimpse of the tram track cleaner!

Happy Friday!
