Sechseläuten

The Sechseläuten is a spring holiday that it is held in the center of Zürich. It is several days of events with the last day, being Monday which includes a parade and ends with the burning of the Bögg. The Bögg is like a snowman and burned as Winter in effigy. The whole town is in celebration and folks from all different cantons come to the event. Each year a different canton is the guest. Canton Zug was the guest this year. The weather was spectacular. Stephan and I spent the day strolling through the city and watched the bands and various groups staged throughout the city.
