Elephant - der Elefant

There are a lot of things I am ready to leave behind as we get ready to head overseas, but Sandy is not one of them! Several years ago our girls went to "crazy chair summer camp." In a week, they picked an animal, worked with the counselors and helped plan the chair, worked with the wood, used paper mache, painted and brought to life a chair. When it was time to decide what was being sent over and what was staying - there were several things that we had to decide to take or leave with a twinge of sadness or uncertainty. But not Sandy the Elephant. There was no doubt she was coming with us. And so, she did - and she got her own special container to keep her warm and snug. See you in June Sandy!
