Neuschwanstein

In February, Stephan and I drove for a night to a castle that has been on my wishlist since we moved here. Neuschwanstein is a castle in Germany. It is in Bavaria near the Austrian border. King Ludwig II had the castle built but died prior to it's completion. It has a breathtaking view and the inside is spectacular. (No photos allowed from the inside). We spent a night in the nearby town and were delighted with the 23 hour escape.
