A Moment - Einen Moment

The hardest part of visiting for a short time, is the short amount of time to see your friends. We spent 14 years in NC and to cram visits with all friends from those years in just a few days, is impossible. We did get to see some friends and for that I am grateful. Lunches, dinners, walks, coffees and a few car rides only gave us a brief moment in time with our friends. We were happy and sad all at the same time. Almost four years away now, and an hour chat just doesn't fulfill the need to reconnect. To the friends that were able to get us into their calendars - thank you. And for those we missed, I am sorry we couldn't connect - next time we will be make plans further in advance. Last year, we were supposed to come and at the last minute we cancelled. I felt like I didn't want to get my hopes up this time and only booked with short notice.  

Here is hoping to see friends again soon - in NC or Switzerland!
