Live Music
music- Der Musik

For the first time since the pandemic we went to a show. From the time, I was growing up and working every summer at the campground - the only activity outside of seeing friends was music. I would go to SPAC (Saratoga Performing Arts Center) and get the lawn seats. $10 at that time. I would get lawn seats to almost every show those summers. Those few hours a week were my escape and as a result I really love to hear all types of music. I have spent lots of time at music festivals and small clubs to see known and unknown musicians. Some of the most memorable Elton John in the rain when was I a young teen to Lenny Kravitz at the old Ritz in NYC at his first album release, Woodstock '94, Rick Danko at the Bottom Line (one of Stephan and my first dates) to folk music in NC - those were my escapes.
Last week, Stephan, Miriam and I went back to live music and saw Avi Kaplan at the Plaza Club in Zürich. It was the perfect size to reintroduce live music. Not too crowded and we were not the only ones wearing masks.

However, if you ask me about my favorite live music - it is still this little drummer.
