Liechtenstein - Gaflei

We spent a few days around Gaflei, Liechtenstein recently and it literally feels like you are above the clouds. It is 1500 meters above sea level so it is considered high altitude. I admit it clearly took me a bit to get acclimated. (I had a headache and I needed to take catch my breath the first couple minutes of walking). But, it was all worth it as it felt like you were above the clouds. We stayed in Triesenberg (1200 meters above sea level) which is 13 minutes by car/bus further down the mountain and the fog was so thick it was unbelievable. You could see it creeping into the car garage and at times - at night barely able to see across the street. Looking out - at times - it looked more like a lake than looking down a mountain with fog. The photos were all taken either at the top or on the way up the mountain and all on the same weekend.
