It's Fall
Fall - Der Herbst

The leaves are turning and falling. The weather is brisk and the virus is back in full force. Unfortunately, our numbers keep climbing, which means we need to once again, go into stricter rules. It seems that mainly grown men are having the hardest time following the simple rule of wearing the mask - and wearing it correctly. 9 out of 10 times it is a man that is wearing it below his nose or not at all. Rather than focus on the politics - I will leave that to the experts and I suggest this article from the New York Times about masks and toxic masculinity.

In any case what rise in numbers means more walks closer to home. Saturday, was suppose to be a rainy day, but turned into a nice sunny one, with the slightest chill. Realizing that these opportunities are going to be rare as the season changes, I hit the sidewalk and enjoyed the day.

I decided to walk to Irchel Park. And I was treated to a gorgeous view. I always enjoy going here, but it was my first fall visit. I will be back to see how the leaves continue to turn colors but here was Saturday's view.
