Freiburg was just a quick trip from Colmar so on our way home from our week vacation - we stopped off for the farmer's market and lunch. It is official - the farmer's market in Freiburg is my favorite of all times. It is truly a gem!  We sat and had lunch on the square watching everyone gather their market treats. Afterward we walked to the top of the mountain in the town. It was a nice walk up - and my first uphill walk since COVID. When we got to the top, we continued up the tower.

After a nice afternoon in town, we drove home in time for dinner with goodies we purchased at the market.
