Green Market - Der Grüner Markt

One of our favorite things in Carrboro was the Saturday morning Farmer's Market.  Each morning we would walk or ride our bikes to the market, fill up for the week, chat with the farmers and run into friends. Afterward, we would head to Weaver Street for coffee, people watching and the final ingredients needed for our meals for much of the week.  That is definitely one of the pieces we miss.

The Saturday I was there - I walked the market with a friend, soaking in all the local smells and sights.  Afterward, we grabbed a coffee at the Open Eye. I was struggling with all the paper cups being used around town and Open Eye was one of the few using real cups.
