Cows - Die Kühe

We are spending the week on the mountain top town called Wald Im Pinzgau  in Austria.   We drove up right on a rainy night. We learned two things the next day: We took the back-way up the mountain (very happy we can leave on a bigger road). We also learned that the cows roam freely up here. And so cows on roadways  or hiking trails are not unusual.  During our hike yesterday - we passed many cows. We did take a detour at one point- because we were not going to be in the middle of the pack.
