Cherry Blossoms in Frick

Today, we went for a nice walk/hike with our friend Birgit through the cherry blossoms. It is a trail in the next canton over from us. A quick train ride there and then a couple stops on a bus and we were on our way.

A bit warm, but an overall lovely way to welcome in the Spring. Weather is turning this week so I am glad we got out for this Sunday.

We did pop through the city on our way home and were able to catch a little more of the three day event called: Sächsilüüte –Sechseläuten. That will be my next post so hold tight.

For now - it was all about the trail around Frick. (For the German speakers - stop giggling that is the name of the town. For the non-German speakers - Frick is along the same lines as you would say in English but worse).

All along the way, there were locals selling their jams, honeys and eggs. We stopped and bought some orange juice from the boy with his own little stand.
