Chäserrugg Panorama Trail

ankle - der Knöchel

Summer has begun and the adventures have followed. After a three year wait, Miriam's friend from NC arrived. Pandemic be damned - she got her and we are thrilled!  Our first weekend with her - we tried to show her a little bit of what a Swiss weekend might look like.

Saturday we hiked the Chäserrugg Panorama Trail.  We took the gandola up to the top and hiked around. It was a spectacular hike - and not hard.  I found the only hole on the trail, though my ankle was angry at first, it forgave me and let me finish the day off and by the next day it was fine.

The flowers up top were more than enough reason to go but add the view and I can't believe we waited this long to go there.

We were treated with a surprise yodeler and a mountain top wedding view. Though the weather is hot here - up on the mountain at times it got cool enough to want to wear a jacket.

Sunday we spent at the Uster Badi (pool). Locals - this was our first time at the new pool and it was fabulous. And there was lake swimming/diving too, but we decided to stick by the pool.
